Four Benefits of a One-Bedroom Apartment for Rent

If you have a studio apartment, you may be thinking about upgrading to a one-bedroom apartment for rent. If you upgrade, you will have to pay more in rent, but you will also have several added benefits. You will learn how to be self-sufficient and how to manage your time better when cleaning your house.
In fact, from being self-sufficient to learning new skills, there are many benefits of getting a one-bedroom apartment for rent. Here is our list of those benefits.

Privacy

In a studio apartment, your door essentially opened into one giant room. There was little to no privacy, and everyone could see the different sections of the room, except the bathroom, whether you wanted them to or not. If you were lucky, you could have a small hallway that led to the bedroom, but nothing more.
In a one-bedroom apartment for rent, your bedroom will get a door. This means that you can close it when company comes by, or when you have overnight company and you want to be left alone while working. The level of privacy increases if you have a separate bedroom.

A Bigger Main Room

In a studio apartment, you only had a section of your apartment that was dedicated to entertaining guests. This section was usually small and could fit no more than one or two people comfortably. There was also limited space to move around, and limited space to put the furniture.
In a one-bedroom apartment for rent, you will have a much bigger main room that will be perfect for entertaining at least two guests. You are not as limited by where you can put furniture, and your bedroom will be separate from the main room. This means that not only can you have more company, but you can also maintain your privacy as well.

More Storage Space

In a studio apartment, you usually only get one closet in the bedroom area, and maybe one closet in the hallway. This allows for limited storage space and it will be harder to place all the belongings that you want to have displayed.
In a one-bedroom apartment for yet, you have an entire wardrobe-size closet in your bedroom, which you can hang all your clothes in. You also have a smaller closet in the main room, where your guests can hang their clothing. I store board games in the main closet, while I store my clothes in the wardrobe in the bedroom.

Easily Maintained

Like a studio apartment, the dimensions of a one-bedroom apartment are designed with having only one person in mind. This means that one person should be able to clean it, including dusting and vacuuming with little effort. You will not need another person to help you, and it should be very easy to clean the apartment provided you don’t let it get too messy.

Conclusion

There are many benefits to getting a one-bedroom apartment for rent. From an added layer of privacy, to having an easily maintained apartment, the benefits are exceptional. You will have a larger main room and more storage space, too. Overall, a one-bedroom apartment for rent is certainly an upgrade over a studio apartment.
